Two performers, a choreographer and a contrabass player, set out on a wandering journey. With meticulous precision, they present fragments of movements and musical phrases they have gathered. Through repetition and a stretched sense of time, they are looking for ways to create intimacy with action itself, while experiencing the drama of the relationship between representation and the thing in itself.

About the artist
Mica Kupfer is a choreographer, performer and a multi-disciplinary artist. Her artistic practice brings together an amalgam of visual and movement languages oscillating between choreography, visual theater and performance-art. In her projects, she explores inherent and hidden tensions in human behavior. Through investigation and a deconstructive yet minimalist gaze in the moving body, she exposes physical mechanisms, creates stories and asks: what and how is it to be a body in this word? Mica is a graduate of the School of Visual Theater, in which she received the mayor’s excellence prize. Since her graduation in 2019 she develops and presents her works (among them Walking on Two, Forest Threshold and By Force of the Same Movement) and collaborates as a performer in various projects. Winner of the Best Show award in Acco festival 2020.
