We are born into a world of constant classification, confined to categories of different systems: home, community, country. Nationality, religion and gender are part of the identities we all receive – first from the outside. Throughout our lives we go through a never-ending journey with and in relation to these identities. Through the bodies and stories of the performers Nur and Saed, we invite you to look into the complexity of this journey, which is at the same time both physical and spiritual, material and emotional, personal and collective.

ننوَلد لِعالم من التصنيف المستمر، تُعرِّفنا أنظمة اجتماعية، سياسيّة لفئات وهويّات مثل الجندر، القوميّة، الدين، والتي نتلقاها منذ البدء؛ في البيت/ البيئة التي ننمو بها. منذلك ونحن نخوض معها رحلة مستمرة.
من خلال أجساد وقصص الأداء التي يتلوها لنا نور وسائد، ندعوكن/كم للتأمل في تركيبات هذه الرحلة، في انحناءاتها الجسدية والروحانيّة،الماديّة والعاطفيّة، الشخصيّة والجماعيّة.

About the artist
Saed Mansour is a Palestinian choreographer and producer who started creating in 2021, and presented his works in Nifgashot festival in Kfar Shalem and in Naot נעות مع بعض)) festival. During those years, he also founded different festivals and platforms, as well as taught workshops in Israel-Palestine and abroad. In the spaces Saed creates, he explores themes of community and questions of identity through establishing dynamic connections between the performers and the audience and ritualistic and emotional processes inviting to reflect on different identities, their points of contact and distinction.
سائد منصور هو مصمم رقص ومنتج فلسطيني. بدأ مسيرته كمصمم في عام 2021 وعرض في مهرجان “نفغاشوت”, وفي مهرجان “نعوت مع بعض“. خلال هذه السنوات، بادر أيضًا إلى تأسيس مهرجانات ومنصات متنوعة، وقام بتدريس ورش عمل في البلاد وحول العالم. في المساحات التي يبادر إليها ويخلقها سائد، يستكشف موضوعات المجتمع والهوية، وفيها اسئلة وبحث على ديناميكيات بين الفنانين المؤدين والجمهور، من خلال طقوس راقصة تدعو للتأمل في الهويات المختلفة، ونقاط الاتصال والفصل بينها.
